ARCHITECTURE REVIEW

An outside view of your architecture before changing it gets too costly

In 1-2 weeks we map the system, surface risks and prioritize technical debt. You walk away knowing what to fix now, what can wait and what's quietly blocking the next stage of your product.

Risk map, dependency graph and refactor plan

What you get

Documents you can lean on for quarterly planning, hiring decisions and architectural calls.

Risk map with likelihood and impact for every component — scored separately from a business and an engineering perspective.

Dependency graph of services, databases and external integrations — with flags on problem zones and places where one change ripples across half the system.

Prioritized technical debt list: what to tackle this sprint, this quarter, this year — each item with a cost estimate and the value it unlocks.

Hiring and team-shape recommendations: which roles close the biggest risks, where a mid-level engineer is enough, where you genuinely need a strong lead.

When to order

This review pays off most at forks in the road where an architecture mistake compounds for years.

Before a major release or business-model shift — you need to know the architecture will survive the new requirements.

Before hiring an in-house team or switching contractors — so the new team inherits a plan, not just legacy code.

When shipping has visibly slowed compared to a year ago — usually that's accumulated technical debt, not the team.

Before a funding round or due diligence — an external architecture review builds investor trust and removes uncomfortable questions.

How we run the review

We work with code, docs and people — no long onboarding, no slowdown for your team.

01

Immersion

We read the repos, study the documentation, talk to leads and product. We pin down product goals and engineering constraints.

02

Structural analysis

We build a dependency graph, hunt for cyclic links, hidden contracts and modules with blurred responsibility.

03

Risk assessment

Every risk gets a likelihood, impact and cost-to-fix. We assemble the matrix and pressure-test it with your team.

04

Plan and defense

We prepare a prioritized document with estimates, present it to engineering and management, and agree on what enters the next quarter.

Pricing and scope

Exact figure — after a short discovery call. These ranges are for the KZ market 2026.

System-wide review: dependency graph, risks, tech debt, hiring and team recommendations.

Enterprise

2.5M+ ₸

Multi-team / multi-service deployment, includes security & compliance review, defense before C-level.

Questions & Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Will you disrupt our team's work?
No. We work in parallel: read-only repo access + 3-5 lead interviews of 1 hour each. Your team continues sprints.
What if we need architecture for a startup that hasn't built anything yet?
That's Discovery, not Architecture Review. Review is for existing systems. Discovery is for designing from scratch.
Will the report be understandable for business, not just engineers?
Yes. Architecture decisions are translated into risk-impact for business: what blocks growth, what raises TCO, what hampers hiring.
Can we implement recommendations ourselves?
Yes — report includes plan with complexity estimates and priorities. We can also assist with implementation (separate engagement) or hand off completely.
Is review suitable for legacy systems?
Perfect for them. The more legacy, the more valuable the outside view — internal teams have grown accustomed to compromises.
