Custom software development & IT outsourcing in Kazakhstan

Think first. Then build.

Web, mobile apps, AI — from architecture to production. One team from Diagnose to Evolve: the same engineers who designed it own the production system.

Engineers from Kazakh and Uzbek big tech

Architects and product managers come from major product companies in the region. The same bar for load and timelines we held there — we now apply to client projects.

How to work with us

Three models for different needs: classic outsourcing, dedicated team on the client side, and SaaS product development.

From Design to Build: predictable engineering

Four phases, each with its own deliverable. You can stop at any one of them — no commitment to move to the next.

Approach

01

Diagnose

System or task audit. Risk map and bottlenecks.

02

Design

Architecture, stack, roadmap. Spec + fixed price for build.

03

Build

Same team that designed delivers. Demo every 2 weeks.

04

Evolve

Support, monitoring, new features, refactoring as you scale.

Approach

Fixed-price audits

The Diagnose phase in three formats. Each is a separate 1-2 week product to assess risks before major investments. Start with any one — no commitment to continue.

Custom development aligned with the business case

From architecture through launch and support. One team from Diagnose to Evolve.

New Product

Have an idea, no product yet? Start with Discovery.

Discovery is a standalone product with a fixed price and a clear deliverable. You can stop if the idea isn't validated.

2-4 weeks · fixed price

Questions & Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

What is WIZICO and what services do you provide?
WIZICO Tech is an IT company (legal entity WIZICO Technologies LLP) with an office in Almaty at 21/8 Al-Farabi Avenue. We build software products tailored to a specific business case rather than off-the-shelf solutions. Our architects and engineers come from Freedom, Halyk Market, Bereke Bank, Altel/Tele2, Payme, Rocket Tech and Prime Source. Our development areas cover web applications, mobile applications, AI/ML, blockchain, DevOps and QA. We also provide IT outsourcing, IT outstaffing, SaaS product development and MVPs. We are a resident of Astana Hub (KZ) and IT Park Uzbekistan (UZ), which brings tax and infrastructure advantages. We work remotely with companies in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and the UAE. Every project follows our four-phase engineering approach — Diagnose, Design, Build, Evolve — locking architecture, timeline and budget before any code is written, which makes the outcome predictable in cost and schedule.
How does your engineering approach work?
Our engineering approach is built on one principle: we don't write code until architecture, timeline and budget are locked. The work is split into four phases. Diagnose — an audit of the system or task and a risk map (1-2 weeks at a fixed cost). Design — architecture design, stack selection and the technical specification; this is where the fixed price for the build is set before kick-off. Build — implementation by the same team that designed the solution, with a demo every 2 weeks so you see progress and can adjust direction. Evolve — support, monitoring, new features and refactoring as load grows. This sequence lowers the cost of error: most risks are found and resolved on paper, before major investment in code. As a result you get predictability on timeline and budget and transparency at every stage. You can stop after any phase.
Where should I start working with WIZICO?
The best way to start is with one of our fixed-price Diagnose-phase audits — a short, low-cost way to assess risks before major investment. The Performance Audit shows whether your system is ready for load growth and where the performance bottlenecks are. The Architecture Review builds a risk map and surfaces the technical debt slowing your product down. The Infrastructure Audit focuses on optimizing cloud spend and improving infrastructure reliability. Each audit is a separate, standalone product with a fixed cost that takes 1-2 weeks. It is essentially the Diagnose phase in a short format: you get concrete findings and recommendations with no obligation to continue. If the results confirm the need for change, you can move to the Design phase, where architecture, timeline and budget are locked, and then to Build. But you can stop at any stage — each step delivers standalone value. This lowers the barrier and risk for the business.
What technologies do you use?
We use a modern stack that we select to fit the task during the Design phase, not the other way around. Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript. Backend: Node.js, Go, Java Spring Boot, Python. Mobile: React Native for cross-platform development, plus native Kotlin (Android) and Swift (iOS). AI/ML: RAG architectures, LangChain, OpenAI and vector databases — Pinecone, Qdrant, pgvector — for semantic search and working with large language models. Infrastructure and DevOps: Kubernetes, Docker, and the AWS, GCP and Yandex.Cloud clouds with container orchestration and CI/CD. Data and messaging: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis and Kafka for reliable storage and stream processing. Blockchain: Ethereum, Solana and Hyperledger for smart contracts and distributed solutions. The choice of specific technologies is always justified by the project's architecture, load and business goals — we lock the stack in the technical specification before development begins, to avoid rework.
Which countries and cities do you work in?
We work remotely (remote-first) with companies in three countries: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and the UAE. Our headquarters is in Almaty at 21/8 Al-Farabi Avenue. In Kazakhstan we partner with clients across the whole country — Almaty, Astana, Karaganda, Shymkent, Aktobe, Atyrau — without being tied to a single city. In Uzbekistan the work runs through a separate UZ legal entity, and contracts are signed in Uzbek soms, which simplifies local payments and paperwork. We also deliver projects for clients in the UAE. Our resident status at Astana Hub (KZ) and IT Park Uzbekistan (UZ) gives us tax and infrastructure advantages in both jurisdictions and confirms our presence in these markets. The remote-first model means the client's location does not limit cooperation: communication, demos every 2 weeks and delivery of results are organized remotely, and the team is assembled to fit the task regardless of where the client is.
How much does development cost and how is pricing determined?
The price of development is set during the Design phase — after the design is done, you receive a fixed price for the build with locked timeline and scope, so the cost does not drift over the course of the project. The principle is simple: we don't quote a development price at random and don't write code until architecture, timeline and budget are agreed. Before that stage, risks and scope are assessed through the short Diagnose-phase audits — Performance Audit, Architecture Review and Infrastructure Audit. Each has a fixed cost and takes 1-2 weeks, which lets you understand the scale of the task and the potential risks before major investment in code. This order protects the budget: the main uncertainties are removed on paper, at the design stage, rather than mid-build, where fixes are most expensive. As a result you see the final amount and timeline in advance and pay for a predictable outcome, not estimated hours.
